Dr. Mulko-Scheufele
Endodontist
Dr. Natasha Mulko-Scheufele strives for success in all aspects of life. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University Dental School in Nebraska, then pursued post-graduate work in Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dentistry in Boston, where she obtained her certificate in Endodontics. She was a Pre-Doctoral Endodontic Clinic Supervisor; instructing pre-doctoral dental students in the proper execution of root canal therapy at Tufts Dental School.
In her early career, Dr. Scheufele graduated with Honors in Chemistry from Dartmouth College and has been published in a scientific journal for her research efforts. She is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Scheufele has worked as a general dentist in Massachusetts, as an Endodontist in the D.C. area, and as an Endodontist for the U.S. Army Dental Corps Reserves. She most recently worked for 5 years as an endodontist in a private practice in San Antonio before moving to Austin. She is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of doing root canals, Dr. Scheufele enjoys spending her free time with her family. Together, they spend as much time as possible outside, especially going for walks on the trails. They attend the Austin Stone Church.
Dr. Houston
Endodontist
Dr. Mark Houston was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He attended Washington State University, where he graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Houston served four years as a general dentist in the United States Army. During this time, he advanced his skills and knowledge with continuing education and mentorship. In addition to his clinical duties, he served as Patient Safety Officer to improve patient safety and ensure infection control standards.
Following his Army service, Dr. Houston completed a residency training program at Louisiana State University, where he earned a certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
Dr. Houston is committed to treating patients with compassion and respect while addressing their dental needs.
Dr. Cecchin
Endodontist
Dr. Cecchin, originally from Brazil, has completed his first specialization in Endodontics from teh University of Ribeirão Preto, Brazil (in 2009), pursued a Masters (University of São Paulo, in 2009 and a PhD (State University of Campinas, in 2012) in Restorative Dentistry with focus in Endodontics. He taught as a clinical instructor and associate professor at the post-doctoral endodontic program at the Department of Endodontics, University of Pass Fundo, Brazil from 2011 to 2022. He maintained a private practice limited to Endodontics in Passo Fundo, Brazil, from 2011 to 2022. Dr. Cecchin has published over 100 papers in recognized journals, such as Journal of Endodontics, International Endodontic Journal, Dental Materials, among others. After moving to the United States, Dr. Cecchin completed his second Endodontics Specialty Program at University of Louisville KY in 2024, where he also received the Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
In his free time, Dr. Cecchin enjoys biking, traveling, watching sports, cooking, and, of course, spending time with his wife and two children. In addition to English, he is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
